Why Certified Organic Dog Food? |
|

|
Certified
Organic Equals
Third Party Oversight & Trust:
By offering USDA/MOSA certified organic, frozen, raw diets,
Paw Naturaw subjects itself to stringent standards
and considerable third party oversight uncommonly
found in pet food to protect the integrity of
its diets. |

Purity
vs. Toxic Substances:
While nutrients may be scientifically equal
at a basic molecular level, the ingredients
they come from and the growing, raising, and
processing methods used most certainly are
not. Paw Naturaw uses certified organic whole
foods to ensure your dog companion’s
diets will be void of genetically modified
organisms (GMOs), hormones, antibiotics, pesticides,
herbicides, fungicides, heavy metals, solvents,
preservatives, artificial additives, or other
toxic and deleterious substances.
Labels often tell only part of the story.
Not listed on the label is not equivalent
to absent from the product. In order to piece
together the composition and integrity of
diets outside of the organic industry you
may only guess as to how products were sprayed,
fed, processed, transported, or cleaned and
what traces remain. Federal regulations of
organic foods in contrast prohibit more than
3,000 toxins from entering into the different
processes. |

Nutrient
Rich:
Several new research studies, such as February
2005 Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences,
show the increased healthfulness organic whole
foods compared to conventionally grown foods.
Other studies show organic foods contain higher
densities of protein, vitamin C, and several
minerals than their conventional counterparts. |

 |
Action
& Reaction:
Choices lead to consequences as walking leads
to footprints. Paw Naturaw, organic, frozen,
raw diets support the organic system. As a
whole the organic system tends to apply more
sustainable methods at each link of the value
chain than what typically occurs in conventional
systems. According to rules and regulations,
members of the organic community must pay
more attention to the harmony of soil compositions,
water purification, biodiversity, preservation,
conservation, cruelty free practices, local
economics, and the health of farmers, laborers,
consumers, and pet companions. Organic is
the most ethical and responsible food system
legally recognized and in wide use to date.
As with the low AAFCO requirements Paw Naturaw
meets and advances beyond the organic standards
and operates with leaving a lighter carbon
footprint in mind. |
